Four bottlenose dolphins and one Atlantic grey seal

Bottlenose dolphins were seen throughout the survey. The survey began with a mother and calf seen foraging near the harbour wall and another lone dolphin foraging near the cardinal buoy. Within the first hour, the mother and calf slowly made their way of to the cardinal buoy to forage with the other adult. And Atlantic grey seal was sighted off the harbour wall in the water in the last half an hour of the survey along with two dolphins very close to the harbour wall and another two foraging near the cardinal buoy.

The survey began with two bottlenose dolphins spotted foraging between the harbour wall and the 8 Knott buoys. After 30 minutes, five bottlenose dolphins were sighted with two adults and a mother and calf foraging around the cardinal buoy and another adult seen travelling whilst foraging in a north-westerly direction. Half way through the survey an Atlantic grey seal was sighted in the water just off from the harbour wall and then later near the fish factory.

Dolphins were sighted in the first hour of the survey only. The survey began with an Atlantic grey seal seen swimming towards the fish factory, shortly followed by a mother and calf bottlenose dolphin seen foraging at the harbour wall. The mother and calf continued to forage for half an hour.
