Our Mammal Mission Appeal Ceredigion

The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is on a mission to help wildlife in Ceredigion, but we need your help…

It’s no secret that wildlife is struggling. It’s vitally important that we’re doing all we can to protect them. Unfortunately our resources only go so far until we rely on kind donations from people like you. By donating to this appeal you will be helping us to protect wildlife in Ceredigion.

What we’ve been doing so far…

Our team in Ceredigion have been conducting monthly surveys under licence as part of the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme at Cwm Clettwr. We’ve also thinned woodland and removed Western Hemlock. Occasional surveys have also been done for Water Voles at Cors Ian Nature Reserve and we’ve cleared scrub at the stream to encourage them.

What we’d like to do with your help…

Your kind donation would allow us to install more Dormice nest boxes and replace existing ones that have seen better days. We would be able to continue managing the habitats for wildlife and fix some dams along the stream. We’d also be able to carry out more Water Vole surveys.
