Our Mammal Mission Appeal Carmarthenshire

The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is on a mission to help wildlife in Carmarthenshire, but we need your help…

Your iconic Welsh wildlife needs help. It’s no secret that wildlife is struggling. It’s vitally important that we’re doing all we can to protect them. Unfortunately our resources only go so far until we rely on kind donations from people like you. By donating to this appeal you will be helping us to protect Wales’ precious wildlife in Carmarthenshire.

What we’ve been doing so far…

Lots of local habitat management has been done for Water Voles and Dormice, such as monitoring, hedge laying, Mink trapping and ditch clearing at Ffwrd Farm Mire. We also got involved in Badger vaccinations at Castle Woods.

What we’d like to do with your help…

Having the tools and staff to continue further habitat management such as fencing, ditch clearing and hedge laying would give us a great opportunity to further improve the land to benefit wildlife.

Please, if you can, kindly donate to our Mammal Mission Appeal to enable us to protect wildlife on your doorstep.
