- We have an open day 18/03/2012 at our beautiful Coed y Bwl nature reserve, near Bridgend, it is famous for its daffodils http://www.welshwildlife.org/2012/coed-y-bwl-daffodil-open-day/
- A great article about the dolphins that Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) monitor and where they over winter (CBMWC is one of our marine groups) thanks Laura http://www.welshwildlife.org/2012/we-have-a-match/
- We've been down to our Ffrwd Farm Mire nature reserve in Pembrey, Carmarthenshire today to admire the progress of a new piece of boardwalk being built by a Prince's Trust group through the Tir Coed 'Branching Out' CAN partnership with WTSWW. They're doing a great job. Ffrwd is mostly reedbed and there is not much in the way of easy access to the site itself, so this short boardwalk from the public right of way along the boundary will allow visitors to walk into the reedbed and better experience the reserve- hopefully admiring the view and listening to some of our Cetti's warblers, which were singing their hearts out this afternoon!
- Any moth and butterfly enthusiasts in Pembrokeshire? Please read this. Thanks...
