Forest Farm Watch Club
Forest Farm Wildlife Watch Club (FFWWC) is a fun and interesting way for youngsters to learn about wildlife and the environment in a safe way. The Club is led by the Park Ranger Service and supported by The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales
The Club prides itself on its friendly and welcoming team of staff and helpers. We offer an exciting and varied mix of activities which include arts and craft, pond dips, bug hunts, photography, nature walks, special visits and much much more! The logo (above) was the winning design in a competition launched to find a logo for the group.
We always welcome new people to join the group and if you would like to contact us to have a chat please phone Kevin or Gareth on 029 20445903 or e-mail: CommunityParkRangers@cardiff.gov.uk.
WATCH this space!! Teifi WATCH group
This Easter will see the re-launch of the Teifi Watch group that began last year. After the temporary suspension of last year’s group following Vicki Watson’s retirement we have a new team of eager volunteers waiting to get started. We are sure that they will provide a fun and exciting programme of activities for existing and new watch members.
We are looking for volunteers to lead and help run a Wildlife Watch group at The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Parc Slip Nature Reserve. For more information about Watch please go here.
Wildlife Watch is the junior arm of the Wildlife Trusts. It encourages 6 – 12 year olds to take an interest in wildlife and the world around them through activities on environmental and natural history topics in a fun and educational setting. This is your chance to help inspire the next generation of environmentalists!
Typical Wildlife Watch activities include:
• Pond dipping
• Natural arts and crafts
• Minibeast hunting
• Bird box making
• Conservation tasks
