This course tailored towards the beginner and intermediate level; attendees will be introduced to the native reptile species found in the UK, and by the end of the course should be able to confidently identify all four reptile species found at Parc Slip. These include the grass snake, adder, common lizard and slow worm.

reptile surveyAttendees will also have the chance to take part in the Parc Slip monitoring project, which involves the use of artificial refugia to survey for reptiles.

Essential items to bring:

-Packed lunch (tea and coffee is however provided)

-Waterproofs and boots for outdoor activities

-Notepad and pencil

-Binoculars

-Camera
