This course is aimed at amateurs and semi-professionals who wish to enhance their surveying skills by learning how to accurately identify and classify different habitat and accurately annotate field maps.
Phase 1 habitat surveying methodology is used by professional ecologists in the UK, therefore having a basic knowledge and understanding is useful for anybody who wishes to have a career in conservation or ecology.
Essential items to bring:
-Packed lunch (tea and coffer is however provided)
-Waterproofs and boots for outdoor activities
-Notepad and pencil
